Integrating JaneApp™ with Your App: API Access, Zapier, Patient Data, and Compliance Explained
1. When an appointment is booked in Jane and synced to TDC, do you provide API access or webhooks so we can pull upcoming appointment date/time/status into our own app UI?
- We have an AUTH API and a legacy API we don't recommend using to pull contact, appointment information we sync inside TDC, we don't allow direct API connection to JaneApp™
2. If no API/webhooks, do you support Zapier/Make, or scheduled exports (CSV/SFTP) of appointment data?
- We also support Zapier, the app to select there would be LeadConnector
3. What patient identifiers are available for matching (Jane Patient ID, phone, email)?
- If you filter the contacts for the field starting with ClinicSync, you'll see a field called ClinicSync Patient GUID, that's the unique identifier for a patient in JaneApp™, the GUID is what shows up in the URL, the patient number is not reliable because you can change that and the GUID (shown in URL and CSVs) will never change
4. Can we retrieve appointment metadata (service type, provider, location, notes, cancellation/reschedule status)?
- Replied via question 1, we don't pull the notes from JaneApp™ appts into TDC
5. Security/Compliance: do you support BAA/HIPAA for app integration and what’s the preferred method?
- Yes, we have a BAA in place just so you can use ClinicSync, we will resend you yours if it's not signed, we are HIPAA and we are about to get approved with SOC2 compliance as well.
