A2P Registration


  1. Adding Subdomains (if not yet added)
    1. Go to Settings > Business Profile > Add Branded Domain (my.client’sdomain.com)
    2. Go to Settings > Domains & URL Redirects > Connect a domain > click Connect under Funnel/Website/Store/Blog/Webinar(go.client’sdomain.com) > Link domain with funnel > A2P funnel

  1. Update A2P Custom Values
    1. Go to Settings > Custom Values > Add value to the following custom values:
      1. BUSINESS PROFILE - Business Short Name
      2. BUSINESS PROFILE - Email: From Email Address
      3. BUSINESS PROFILE - Phone Number
      4. WEB URL - Privacy Policy
      5. WEB URL - Terms and Conditions

  1. Start A2P Registration under Phone Numbers tab
    1. Start A2P Registration under Phone Number > Trust Center
    2. Choose Low Volume Standard
    3. Use the following message templates: Note: Make sure to edit the messages with the client’s info
      1. Use Case Description 
        1. This campaign sends appointment information - confirmation & reminder messages to customers once they have booked an appointment with company_name on website and opted-in to receive promotional and notification SMS from company_name.
      2. Sample Message #1
        1. Hi John! This is Jane from company_name. Our appointment for July 20 11:00 AM is confirmed. Please reach out to +1(213) 725-2867 in case you need to reschedule. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
      3. Sample Message #2
        1. Hello John, this is Jane from company_name. We are confirming your appointment tomorrow at 9 am. Reply STOP to cancel.
      4. Check only:
        1. The message will include an embedded link
        2. The message will include phone numbers
      5. How do lead/contacts consent to receive messages?
        1. End users opt-in by visiting - https://go.client’sdomain.com/info and filling in their details. Users check a box to receive notifications & promotional messages to provide their consent. Additionally, end users can also text START to +1 (213) 725-2867.
      6. Opt-in Message
        1. You have successfully opted-in to receive notification and promotional SMS from company_name. Please reply STOP if you need to Opt-out in the future.

  1. Resubmit Campaign
    1. Check the subaccount after a few hours if the Brand has been approved
    2. Resubmit the Campaign in the Trust Center

  1. Update the Client
    1. Inform the client that the A2P Registration has been submitted and it’s now in progress
    2. A2P usually takes 2-5 working days

  1. A2P is Approved
    1. Update that client that the A2P has been approved and send the number porting calendar if the client wants to port their number
